Brass fittings were used throughout the entirety of the home to add warmth, and the brass creates a soft contrast to the hard surfaces of the tile and stone.
When designing, the environment is always important to consider—being at a higher altitude means temperatures are generally cooler than in the residents’ city home, so warm colours and textures were used inside to ensure the space feels cozy and welcoming, even in the depths of winter.
